Questions

Do I need an account to use the picker?
No. Everyone gets one free draw a day without signing up. An account is only needed to subscribe to Pro.
What exactly does Pro change?
Two things: the daily limit goes away, and each draw pulls in far more of the comment thread. Nothing else is gated. The filters, the winner count and the cryptographic draw are identical on both plans.
Is tax added at checkout?
No. The price is tax-inclusive, so VAT or sales tax comes out of the $7.99 rather than being added to it. You pay the same amount wherever you are.
Who appears on my card statement?
Stripe. Stripe is the seller of record for the subscription: it takes the payment in its own name, issues the invoice, and handles the tax. The charge is still for Free Comment Picker Pro, it is just billed through Stripe.
How do I cancel?
From your account page, via the Manage billing button. That opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel immediately. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, in full, if you ask within 14 days of your first payment. After that, email us anyway if something went wrong. The full policy is on the Terms page.
