Terms of use
Most of this tool is free and needs no account. There is one optional paid plan, so the billing terms are set out below too. Using the tool means you accept these terms.

What you are allowed to do
Use the tool for personal or commercial giveaways. You do not need permission and you do not need to credit this site, although a link is always welcome.
Every visitor gets one free draw per day, whether or not they have an account. The day resets at midnight UTC. Pro subscribers have no daily limit, subject to the fair-use note below.
Do not use the tool to attack the service itself, for example by automating requests at a volume intended to take it down or to exhaust its upstream quota.
Accounts
You only need an account to subscribe to Pro. Creating one takes an email address and a password, and nothing else. The free daily draw never asks for either.
Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. There is no automated password reset yet, so if you lose your password, email us and we will sort it out by hand.
We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to break these terms. If we do, any unused paid time is refunded.
Pro subscription and billing
Pro costs $7.99 per month and renews automatically each month until you cancel.
Payment is handled by Stripe (Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates) through Stripe Managed Payments. Stripe is the seller of record for your subscription: it sells the subscription to you in its own name, collects and pays over any VAT, GST or sales tax due in your country in its own name, issues your invoices and receipts, and is the name that appears on your card or bank statement. Stripe handles the card details throughout; we never see or store them.
The price is tax-inclusive. Any VAT or sales tax due in your country comes out of the $7.99 rather than being added on top, so the amount charged is the amount advertised wherever you are.
Pro is a soft limit, not a metered service: there is a high fair-use ceiling on daily draws to stop automated abuse. Ordinary use never reaches it. If you have a genuine need to go past it, ask us rather than scripting around it.
We may change the price. If we do, it applies from your next renewal and we will tell you by email before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you would rather not continue.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel whenever you like, from the Manage billing button on your account page. That opens Stripe's billing portal and takes effect immediately: you are not charged again, and Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you cancel part-way through a month, that part-month is not refunded by default, because you keep the access you paid for until it ends.
New subscriptions have a 14-day refund window. If you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we refund it in full, no reason needed. After that, email us anyway if something went wrong; we would rather fix it than keep money for a tool that did not work.
As the seller of record, Stripe can also refund a charge directly for up to 60 days, independently of the policy above, and a card issuer can raise a chargeback. Neither is something we control.
Your giveaway is your responsibility
This tool picks a random entrant from a public comment list. It does not run your promotion for you. Eligibility rules, prize delivery, tax, disclosure and compliance with the rules of Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook or any other platform remain entirely with you as the organiser.
Every major platform requires promotions to include a release of the platform, to state that the platform is not affiliated with the promotion, and to follow local law. Check the current promotion guidelines for the platform you are running on before you announce anything.
- YouTube contest policies and guidelinesGoogle's own rules for running a contest on YouTube, including the required disclosures.
- Instagram Help Center: promotion guidelinesWhat Instagram requires from a promotion run on its platform.
- TikTok policies and engagementTikTok's current policy hub, the starting point for promotion rules on that platform.
- Facebook Pages, Groups and Events policiesMeta's promotions rules. Worth reading before you write your entry conditions: a promotion has to run on a Page, Group or Event rather than a personal timeline, and you must not require people to tag friends or share the post to enter.
No warranty
The tool is provided as is. It depends on a third-party API to read public comments, and that API can be slow, rate limited or unavailable. When it is, the tool will tell you rather than invent a result, but it cannot promise availability. That applies on Pro as well as on the free plan.
Pro reads considerably more of a comment thread than the free plan does, but neither plan promises a specific number of entrants, and neither reads every comment on a very large post. How far a draw can get depends on what the platform returns, which is their decision and can change without notice. On a big giveaway both plans draw from a sample, and the sample is collected the same way for everyone.
"Unlimited draws" means unlimited in number, subject to the fair-use ceiling described above.
Nothing here creates a liability for a giveaway that went wrong, a winner who did not respond, or a platform decision about your account.
No affiliation
Free Comment Picker is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok or ByteDance. All trademarks and platform names are used descriptively and belong to their respective owners.
